Quick Start Guide

Launch your first Telegram store in less than five minutes.

Prerequisites#

  • A Telegram account
  • A product or service to sell

Step 1 — Get a bot token#

Telemerx uses a Telegram bot as the front door to your store. To create one:

    Open @BotFather in Telegram.
  2. 2
    Send /newbot and follow the prompts to name your bot.
  3. 3
    Copy the HTTP API token (it looks like 123456:ABC-DEF...).

Step 2 — Create your account#

Head to the onboarding page and sign in with Telegram. Pick your shop name, subdomain, and an industry template to pre-fill sensible defaults.

Step 3 — Connect your bot#

Paste your bot token into the setup wizard. Telemerx automatically configures the webhook and the menu button that opens your Mini App.

Step 4 — Add products and go live#

Add your first products, switch on a payment method, and share your store link in any chat, channel, or group. You're selling.

Pro tip

You can change your bot's name, photo, and description in @BotFather at any time — it won't affect your store.
